Lesson note

"La bendición": In many Puerto Rican families, a child asks a parent or grandparent for "la bendición" (a blessing) when leaving or arriving, and the adult answers "Dios te bendiga" — a small daily ritual of respect woven into routine goodbyes.

Tip: turn pronunciation off to test yourself.
