Lesson note
The long Christmas season: The Christmas season in Puerto Rico is famously long, often running from late November through "las Octavitas" (eight days after Three Kings Day) in mid-January — including parrandas, aguinaldos, and the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián in Old San Juan.
