Lesson note
Puerto Rico Tip: Asking for *bendición* (a blessing) from a parent, grandparent, or elder relative is a well-known Puerto Rican family custom, not just a greeting — a child says "Bendición, mami" and the adult answers "Dios te bendiga."
Puerto Rico Tip: Puerto Ricans use tú with almost everyone; usted is for elders and formal settings.
Tip: turn pronunciation off to test yourself.
