Lesson note

"El corillo": "El corillo" is a common Puerto Rican way to say "the friend group" or "the crew" — hanging out with your corillo, whether at home, the beach, or a small get-together, is a big part of everyday social life.

"Wepa!": "Wepa!" is a common Puerto Rican exclamation of excitement or celebration — you'll hear it at parties, at games, and any time friends want to cheer someone on or celebrate good news.
